Singapore LTVP Long-Term Visit Pass Application Guide

LTVP Application Requirements:
The Long-Term Visit Pass (LTVP) is available for common-law spouses, stepchildren, or disabled children of Employment Pass (EP) and S Pass holders, with a minimum fixed monthly salary of S$6,000. Pass holders with income exceeding S$12,000 can also obtain parents' passes.

Required Documents for LTVP Application:

You need the following documents to apply for LTVP Dependant's Pass:

Copy of applicant's passport personal particulars page.

Depending on the family member you are applying for, you may need to submit additional documents:

Dependant	Additional Documents
Common-law spouse	Any one of the following: 1. Copy of de facto marriage certificate. 2. Statutory declaration from the work pass holder and their spouse, declaring that a common-law relationship exists between them that is recognized under the laws of their home country/region. This statutory declaration must also be notarized in their home country/region. 3. Letter from the embassy of the work pass holder's or spouse's home country/region, confirming that a common-law relationship exists between them that is recognized under the laws of their country/region.
Unmarried disabled children aged 21 and above	Letter or report from a doctor regarding the child's medical condition.
Unmarried stepchildren under 21 years old	Copy of court order regarding child custody. Letter from the other biological parent stating no objection to bringing the child to Singapore. Children aged 12 and below need to provide Vaccination Certification issued by HPB.
Parents	Copy of work pass holder's birth certificate showing parents' names.

LTVP Application Process:
The application process is mainly submitted by the employer or authorized agent through the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) online application system. The entire process typically includes the following steps:

Submit LTVP Application: Employer submits the application through MOM website and pays the fees.
LTVP Review and Approval: MOM will review the submitted materials, typically taking 3 weeks for approval.
Receive Results: After approval, applicants can collect their Dependant's Pass.

LTVP Pass Validity and Renewal:
The Dependant's Pass validity period aligns with the main applicant's Employment Pass. For renewal, applications should be submitted at least 6 months before the pass expires. Renewal conditions typically remain unchanged, requiring resubmission of some documents.

Work Rights for LTVP Holders:
LTVP holders who wish to work in Singapore can obtain an Employment Pass (EP), S Pass, or Work Permit (WP). Prospective employers must submit applications on their behalf, with relevant qualifying salaries, quotas, and levy requirements applying to each respective work pass.

Special Considerations:

If the main applicant changes employers, the LTVP Dependant's Pass status will be affected and requires reapplication.
If the LTVP expires without renewal, holders must leave the country.
